What Does a Mold Assessment Entail?
First, a visual inspection of the affected area is completed. A report is then written identifying the areas of concern, approximate size of the affected area, and instructions for a NYS Mold Remediation Contractor to complete the remediation work. The source of the underlying moisture is identified and recommendations are given to correct the problem. A cost estimate and timeframe are also included.
Once the remediation work has been completed, we return to the property for a Post-remediation Clearance Assessment. This ensures that the mold remediation was successful in eliminating the mold issues.
